The 2020 DOCE Score

The 2020 DOCE Score – or Dump Off Containment Efficiency Score – measures a defense’s ability to contain pass-catching running backs. Many factors such as the backs the teams have played, pressure rates, changes to the defense, and the production of the running backs are all factored in.

An average score lies around 0.90. If the defense is extremely efficient, look for the score to be below 0.51. The defenses to target typically finish above 1.07.
