Week 10 Post-Waiver Wire Pickups

Jeff Wilson is a stash pickup that I don’t think you can play this week, but he is going to be a valuable asset going forward. Last year, Wilson was a huge factor in the rushing game, contributing 733 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns over 12 games. Shanahan is going to work him into this backfield, and the upcoming schedule is extremely favorable. After this week’s matchup against the Rams, the 49ers go to Jacksonville, play Minnesota at home, have back-to-back road games against Seattle and Cincinnati, then Atlanta at home, at Tennessee, and at home against Houston in Week 17. Imagine! You could be playing Jeff Wilson against Houston in your fantasy Super Bowl! Don’t sleep on Jeff Wilson.

Buffalo is on the bye this week and returns to a cakewalk of a schedule with Miami, Jacksonville, and New York (Jets) combining for three wins so far this year. The game script will likely move to a run-heavy approach with the Bills holding the lead, but with the weak defenses they’ll be facing, points should be easy to come by.

Examining The AFC East Value Ahead of Week 4

Even when Tua returns, a rib injury is long-term and i aggravated pretty easily. He should take the reigns back from Jacoby Brissett upon his return, though. Brissett has gone 56/89 for 384 yards (trying to wrap my head around 4.3 yards per attempt) and an INT. He also added in a rushing touchdown in Week 3, but it’s likely not enough to keep the job from Tagovailoa at this point.
