Week 11 Post-Waiver Wire Pickups

Week 11 Post-Waiver Wire Pickups

Tua Tagovailoa looked good in his return against the Ravens in Week 10, throwing for 158 yards in less than a half of action and scoring a touchdown on his only carry. The Week 11 matchup against the Jets has ‘blow-up’ written all over it, as their defense has allowed 22.56 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

Examining the Fantasy Storylines of the AFC East

Buffalo is on the bye this week and returns to a cakewalk of a schedule with Miami, Jacksonville, and New York (Jets) combining for three wins so far this year. The game script will likely move to a run-heavy approach with the Bills holding the lead, but with the weak defenses they’ll be facing, points should be easy to come by.

Examining The AFC East Value Ahead of Week 4

Even when Tua returns, a rib injury is long-term and i aggravated pretty easily. He should take the reigns back from Jacoby Brissett upon his return, though. Brissett has gone 56/89 for 384 yards (trying to wrap my head around 4.3 yards per attempt) and an INT. 2021 Bold Predictions

MY OFFICIAL BOLD PREDICTION SERIES FOR THE 2021 SEASON

The sample size is small, but in his ten games in 2020, Harris had 137 carries for 691 yards and two touchdowns in an offense where the quarterback averaged 9+ carries a game. So it should be no problem for Harris to jump from 13.7 carries per game to 15, which would get him to 255 carries over a 17-game season. His career 5.04 yards per carry pace brings him to 1,275 yards.

Stabilize Your Future: The Hidden Value of Mac Jones

If Newton plays poorly, there could be a shift in the offense. Jones could see the field earlier with veterans Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne, Jonnu Smith, and Hunter Henry as his playmakers. However, the most crucial pass-catcher he needs to develop a connection with is 23-year-old N’Keal Harry. With Jones’s accuracy and Harry’s contested catch ability, these two could be a lethal duo for years to come.

Stabilize Your Future: Orchestrate a Secure Quarterback Outlook

There’s a stigma in single-quarterback dynasty leagues where you should wait for your quarterback. I disagree. If anything, recency bias has taught me to stabilize your future. Even for two-quarterback leagues, waiting on the second seems to be foolish when building your team. Sure, you can find value later, but how many picks are you wasting down the line? How many trades are you making trying to solidify the super flex position or second quarterback spot?
