In the rainstorm against the 49ers, Wentz threw for two touchdowns and 223-yards with zero interceptions. Overall, Wentz is the QB17 on the season. Also, the Colts play the Titans next week, who is the 27th worst against the pass.

As much of a certainty Lawrence is, Etienne is just the opposite. His skill set isn’t questionable; it’s his role in the offense. James Robinson came out of nowhere as a rookie last season and finished as the RB7. Robinson offers vision and power, but Etienne is a blazer and can be a three-down back. The Jacksonville Jaguars have been a forgotten franchise as of late and have shown an inability to build a winning organization since owner Shahid Khan took over in 2011. Jacksonville requires a facelift, but can one player do it alone? Before selecting Lawrence to be the cornerstone of your fantasy franchise, let’s break down the situation he’s walking into and see how fantasy-relevant he can be.
Continue ReadingThere’s a stigma in single-quarterback dynasty leagues where you should wait for your quarterback. I disagree. If anything, recency bias has taught me to stabilize your future. Even for two-quarterback leagues, waiting on the second seems to be foolish when building your team. Sure, you can find value later, but how many picks are you wasting down the line? How many trades are you making trying to solidify the super flex position or second quarterback spot?
Continue ReadingOur quarterback rankings are not likely to move dramatically. Perception is rooted in our genetic code. Cognitive dissonance theory occurs when an individual has two contradicting thoughts. According to social psychologist Leon Festinger, dissonance causes an individual discomfort. The individual seeks to counter this discomfort by becoming constant in their beliefs. The mind seeks consistency […]
